I’ve been building brands and marketing campaigns for over 13 years. I previously worked for a global B2B company on a high-performing marketing team where I collaborated with other directors, designers, developers, and various marketing associates. I also coordinated work with other departments or outside contractors. My work typically involved executing integrated marketing campaigns using websites, landing pages, digital and print ads, email, and social. I also directed design for user conferences, industry trade shows, marketing collateral, client communications, and internal communications.
I often collaborated with the executive team on business pitches using a human-centric approach to ideate solutions, organize information, and design presentations in a way that's clear, concise, and helps our leadership team make decisions quickly. I also worked on vital/high-visibility presentations for board members, at-risk clients, or company-wide meetings.
“Having worked directly with Amber for several years, I can attest that she is one of the most tenacious, talented, and thorough professionals I’ve ever known.”
Aside from my art director role, I often pitched ideas to leadership to improve things like company communications or brand cohesion. For example, after seeing employees struggle with poor company communication, lack of accessible company information, and reduced company culture after COVID, I pitched the idea to build a company intranet. I taught myself Modern SharePoint and built an entire intranet from scratch with zero budget. The project launched successfully, receiving many compliments and much appreciation, as our employees now have easy access to company news, information, and branded assets like never before. I’m not only invested in my design work, but also in my company and its people.
“Amber is a top-notch designer! She is amazing at managing her projects and timelines. Able to both give and take direction well, Amber shows great leadership skills. Amber is always proposing ideas and solutions to make improvements.”
